This item is new in the box. The label shows the manufacturer as HOLEX by Hoffman Group. Part of a precision tool kit, it is 3” long and 4” wide with the T handle installed. There is a button release for the T handle to lock it in the position or allow for removal in tight areas. The top and sides have checkered pattern for sure grip. The ratchet has a 3 position sliding control to tighten, lock, and loosen. The opening for tool retention is square at the smallest opening of 2.7 mm (a little more than 7/64”) to a slotted shape at the 5.5 mm maximum opening (7/32”).
Used as a holder for jeweler screwdriver bits, shaft mounted de-burring tools, polishers, and drill bits where delicate control is needed. This is a rare find and would be a wonderful addition and indispensable tool for any technician.
