The new Orchids and eBay 2008 database, effective 23 November, Philco Transitone Clock Radio 54-8708
This radio is straight from an estate sale and powers on. The dial lights up, the clock was noisy but it worked. When the noise went away the clock quit working so we suspect the clock motor.
We did not hook up and antenna and thus did not pick up any stations on the broadcast or special services band. We are in rural Missouri and don’t know if there are any stations in the first place.
No cracks in the case, no missing knobs - this is a very pretty radio. The dial lights up and the tuner works. The schematic is on the bottom of the case.
We are listing many radios today and all came from an estate sale.
