The new Orchids and eBay 2008 database, effective 23 November, Orange Glow Bowl, 5 5/8 inch x 2 ¾ inch
You are bidding on one bowl. The color is similar to some of the Orange Glow by Gladding Mcbean. It is 5 5/8 diameter, not including the handles and 2 ¾” deep. It has more or less straight sides. The style is probably a personal casserole or bean dish.
There may be scratches from use, but no other chips or crazing. The discolored places in the photo are from reflection and flash. There are 3 marks on the back of the plate from the original glazing and firing process. There are some irregularities in the color application and glazing that are probably consistent with the nature of the product.
There are no manufacturer’s marks on this item. I tried to describe the item carefully. I am not an expert on this product. I bought it from an estate sale and never used it myself. I mention the similarity between the Orange Glow by Gladding Mcbean because the sale included GMB dishes.
