The sale listed these hooks as Eagle Claw. The box had L2223BM 4/0 on the side and the packing was dated 1991. I’ve researched the item and found nothing regarding this number. Possibly it has been discontinued. None of the on line catalogs had any of the offset hooks with the long barbed shaft.
These are nice clean hooks. I fished a few tournaments on the Tennessee River and wished I could find a longer shaft on an offset hook. The real lunkers wanted big baits. They would work perfectly for the longer worms and lizards. The barbs on the shaft would also help keep them in place when you were retrieving the lure. They would work equally well on Texas or Carolina riggings.
